Transthyretin amyloidosis Medical Education RFP
AstraZeneca is committed to supporting quality independent medical education that meets an educational need by providing information to healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes. We support education that furthers the understanding of emerging therapies based on a documented unmet need, support the efforts of health care professionals to broaden patient knowledge and awareness of disease states and treatment options, and support the efforts of healthcare professionals to broaden patient knowledge and awareness of disease states and treatment. Our grant support is focused within areas of high unmet need that overlap with our medical areas of interest.
Therapeutic Area: Transthyretin amyloidosis including hereditary transthyretin amyloid polyneuropathy (ATTRv-PN) and hereditary transthyretin amyloid mixed phenotype (ATTRv-CM with ATTRv-PN)
Focus: Expand disease awareness, including recognition of disease characteristics to prompt early diagnosis, current and emerging clinical data for treatment of ATTRv, and care plans to benefit patients with ATTRv.
